Men's Equine Retreats
This three day men’s retreat offers a grounded, experiential space for men to step away from daily pressures and reconnect with what’s real. Set in a supportive, confidential group container, the experience invites honest self-reflection, meaningful connection with other men, and time on the land with horses as powerful, nonverbal teachers. Through equine-facilitated experiential learning, men explore patterns around presence, boundaries, leadership, and integrity—not by talking about them, but by experiencing them in real time.
Working alongside the herd encourages clarity, accountability, and embodied awareness. The retreat supports men in slowing down, listening inward, and showing up with greater authenticity—both for themselves and in relationship with others. Leave feeling more grounded, clear, and confident in who you are and how you move through the world. Farm-to-Table chef prepared lunches. Limited to 8 people.
Family Equine Workshops
Our Family Equine Workshop offers a unique, shared experience designed to support connection, communication, and understanding among family members through grounded, hands-on interaction with horses. In a calm, natural setting, horses create a non-threatening mirror for how we show up with one another—their responses reflect energy, presence, and intention in ways words alone often cannot.
In this workshop, families participate together in activities such as mindful observation, cooperative groundwork, and shared tasks with horses that naturally encourage emotional regulation, clearer communication, and mutual trust. Horses respond to subtle shifts in non-verbal cues, helping each person notice how their body language, calm presence, and focus influence the group dynamic.
This workshop is offered in a safe, supportive environment where every family member can engage at their own pace, explore new ways of relating, and leave with practical insights that extend into daily life.
Corporate Workshops
Our Corporate Equine Workshop offers teams a fresh, hands-on way to explore how people work together—by learning directly from the herd. Horses live in highly attuned social systems where communication, leadership, boundaries, and trust are essential for the group to function well. Through guided, ground-based experiences with the horses, teams observe how these same dynamics show up in the workplace.
Rather than talking about teamwork in a conference room, participants experience it in real time. Horses respond immediately to clarity, consistency, and alignment, offering honest, non-judgmental feedback that highlights patterns in communication, decision-making, and collaboration. Teams leave with a shared understanding of how presence, awareness, and small behavioral shifts can improve connection, effectiveness, and overall team cohesion—insights that translate directly back to the workplace.
We can customize with a farm-to-table lunch. Let’s co-create a powerful corporate event together.
YPO/EO Forum and Chapter Retreats
For YPO forums and chapter retreats, the most meaningful breakthroughs often come when individuals gain clearer insight into how they personally show up—under pressure, in leadership, and in relationship with others. At HapBE Valley, equine-facilitated experiential learning creates a rare opportunity to see these patterns in real time. Horses respond immediately to presence, intention, and internal state, offering honest, non-verbal feedback that helps participants recognize habitual ways of leading, listening, influencing, or holding back.
Through guided, ground-based experiences with the herd, members observe both their individual tendencies and how those behaviors impact the group as a whole. This kind of learning moves beyond discussion into direct experience, making insights tangible, memorable, and actionable. Set within a calm, natural environment, the retreat supports personal clarity, meaningful connection, and strong group cohesion—leaving forums and chapters with deeper trust, shared language, and lasting take-away value that extends well beyond the retreat itself.
Retreats can be customized to combine the best of Asheville’s sights, food and outdoor experiences.
